Save a Life Story

Joel Warren, Chris, and I are biking west of Naperville. It is an overcast day. No blue sky. We are approaching an intersection. Chris gets to the intersection first and stops for unknown reasons (maybe to wait for Joel and I).

I pull up to Chris and see a car coming. Joel is a few seconds behind me. Joel pulls up without a complete stop, and does NOT see the car. He guns his pedals just as I yell out, “CAR LEFT”. Joel stops just as the car passes before him!
